A curve that does not settle
The rim here does not hold one radius. It swells at the outer corner, narrows across the top and lifts slightly where it meets the temple, so the outline reads as a drawn curve rather than a geometric one. The maker calls it sinuous, which is the right word: the shape moves even when the frame is sitting still.

Bevelled, not rounded
The front is acetate with the bridge cut into it in one piece, and the rims are lightly bevelled rather than rolled — a flat facet runs around the opening so the edge catches light separately from the face of the frame. That bevel is what stops a thick oval reading as a blob.
The temples are thin by contrast with the front, each carrying a raised three-dimensional element behind the hinge. The maker states a 55 mm lens width, a 16 mm bridge and 145 mm temples.

Two colourways, one front
Both use the same front, the same bevelled rims and the same dark lens; only the colour of the acetate changes.
Why it costs what it costs
A bevelled rim is a separate cutting and polishing operation on top of shaping the front, and on a curve that changes radius it has to be done without a jig running the whole way round. That is the slow part of making a frame like this, and it is the part most makers skip.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between the frame and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price. What that money pays for instead is the build — real acetate, a cut bevel and a stated UV400 lens, on both colours.

How big is this frame?
The maker states a 55 mm lens width, a 16 mm bridge and 145 mm temples. The 16 mm bridge is narrow, which is what makes it sit well on a lower nose bridge.
Are the nose pads adjustable?
There are no pads. The bridge is cut into the acetate front at 16 mm, so the height on the nose is fixed by the design.
Are these polarised?
The maker states UV400 protection but does not state polarisation, so we do not claim it. UV400 is the protection figure; polarisation is a separate comfort feature.
What does bevelled mean here?
A flat facet cut around the lens opening instead of a rounded edge. It catches light separately from the front, which is what gives the frame its line.
Will the cream finish mark?
A pale frame shows a mark more readily than a dark one, but it is surface only and lifts with a cloth. Keeping the pair in its case is what makes the difference.
How should it be cleaned?
Rinse under cool water to lift grit, then dry with a soft cloth. Keep acetate away from heat — a car dashboard in summer is what warps a frame, not wear.
Two colourways, and not many of each
Each finish is held in a small run. The cream is the one that goes first, and when a colourway goes it is not automatically brought back.
