Two bridges, not one
A round frame with a single bridge reads soft. Add a second bar across the top and the whole thing changes: the eye now sees a horizontal line against two circles, which is the geometry that makes this shape feel drawn rather than merely curved. It is the one detail on the frame and it does all the work.

Plastic front, metal bar
The rims are moulded plastic, cut round and kept narrow so the circle reads as an outline. Across the top runs a metal double bridge — a bar at brow height and the bridge itself below it — joining the two rims and carrying the front.
The arms are plastic to match the rims, hinged at the outer corner and finished flat. The lenses are a rose-gold mirror, which reflects light away at the surface as well as filtering it.
