Two rings before you reach the dial
Most watches go bezel, then dial. This one puts a patterned ring between them, so the eye crosses a stone-set edge and then a worked band before it lands on the time. It is what makes a 36 mm case read fuller than its size.

Round case, stones and a patterned ring
The case is round at roughly 36 mm, with a narrow stone-set bezel and a patterned ring worked into the dial just inside it. The dial itself is left pale so the two rings stay legible against it.
The bracelet is a link design at 23 cm with a folding clasp, adjustable by removing links. Most of the colourways run it in two tones rather than one.
It carries water resistance to 3 metres, a scratch-resistant crystal and a 23 cm adjustable bracelet.

Why it costs what it costs
A patterned ring inside the bezel is a second worked surface on a part most watches leave blank, and the stone setting on the bezel is a hand operation. Two-tone also means two finishes on one assembly.
