Fleece-Lined
Quilted Trousers
Quilted trousers lined in fleece, with zipped pockets and a drawstring waist.
Quilted outside, fleece inside. Two jobs, one trouser.
Insulation only works if it stays where you put it
Loose fleece inside a trouser migrates to the knee within a season and leaves the thigh cold. Quilting the shell to the lining in a set pattern pins it in place, which is why the stitching you can see on the outside is structural rather than decorative.
The design
They have a quilted outer shell stitched in a repeating pattern, a deep pile fleece lining, zipped side pockets deep enough for a phone, and an elasticated waist with a drawstring.
Two colours are offered: a black and a dark grey.

Why it costs what it costs
A zip on a trouser pocket costs more than an open one and is the only reason the pocket is usable while moving. On an insulated trouser it also has to be set through two layers without crushing the fill along the seam, which is where cheap versions bunch.
